Challenge Complete! A few months ago I challenged myself to use up an entire package of the A Walk in the Forest DSP and I’m so happy to announce that I did it! The only restriction I gave myself was to do it before the paper retired at the end of December. Otherwise I could create anything I want.
I chose to use the paper to prepare myself for the holidays. For the most part I used the pattern paper to create cards, but I did throw in a 2-page holiday themed scrapbook layout as well.
Let’s take a look…
A 2-page scrapbook layout
You can find the details for this 2-page layout here.
Six note cards & envelopes

Three Gift Card Holders
These were the last three projects I created with the leftover scraps I had. You can watch the process video here.
Twenty-One of these cards
This was a project I shared where I created 12 cards from 1 piece of pattern paper. I ended up making almost 2 entire sets of these. You can find all the details and photos of each of the cards in this blog post.
Six of these Patchwork Pieces Cards

Three of these pocket cards
All the details for this card can be found here.
Two sets of these cards (10 cards)

These next few cards I don’t have any details for because I created them for my Christmas Stamp-a-Stack.

And one last card to use up a few more of the scraps.
When all is said and done, from one package of the A Walk in the Forest DSP, I created 66 cards/gift card holders and a 2-page layout. That’s pretty amazing.
Here’s a look at what’s left.
I could probably make another card or maybe even a few tags from these scraps but I’m quite happy with what I’ve made and I’m ready to move on. So I’m completely fine tossing these little pieces in the trash.
I really enjoyed this challenge and may issue myself another using a 6″ x 6″ paper package.
Until next time,
