Today I’m sharing a project of mine that I recreated – the Snow Globe Sweet Cup (see the original project here). This time I used the Merry Moose bundle and the Wrapped in Plaid dsp! And oh how I love how it turned out.
The Sweet Cups are still on the clearance rack! You can pick them up for a steal of a deal. But they won’t last long so head over there now and snag some before they are gone.
If you’re familiar with the Wrapped in Plaid dsp, you know that it is a 6×6 paper pack. It is obviously not going to fit all the way around. So I did a bit of piecing together to make it work.
I cut two pieces of dsp that measure 3″ x 6″ and then matched up the patterns so they continued on seamlessly. I used a bit of tape at the back and then used the template you can find in the original post, and cut it out. It worked wonderfully.
In the original post you’ll also find a video on how to put the project together. In the snowman sweet cup I used mini glue dots to add the snow globe but for todays I tried the fine tip glue and it worked well. I just had to hold it in place until it set.
