Whenever Stampin’ Up! releases a product that would be great for scrapbooking, I’m all over it! Todays scrapbook layout using the So Many Stars bundle shows how versatile these products can be!
The Stitched Star Dies are perfect for both card making and memory keeping. They can be used in so many different ways but what makes it even better is that stars are perfect for scrapbooking ANYONE including the men and boys in our lives.
I love all the little details on this layout.
- the paper piercing
- the mercury glass acetate
- the freehand drawn borders
- the splatter
All these things work together to give this layout so much character.
In this close up photo you can see that I added a subtle background. Using die cut stars as my template, I poked holes around the edges. It creates a nice subtle background and is a great way to repeat that star pattern.
This close up also shows you the freehand drawn border. I’ve been loving this on my layouts lately.
If you look closely at the title, you can see that it has an ombre look to it. I used the lined alphabet to stamp the title and then coloured it in using the light and dark Stampin’ Blends to give it that light to dark look.
The Mercury Glass Acetate is perfect for little boy or masculine layouts. It took me a long while to crack that package open. But now that I have, I think I’ll use it lots.
I’m just so pleased with how this layout came together. It makes me want to pull out some more little boy photos and scrap them. Are little boys or more masculine layouts something you’d like to see more of?
Have a creative day!
