Today I’ve got a few tips to share with you about scrapbooking your stash using page kits. I love making up page kits. They make for quick & easy scrapbook layouts and allow you to use products from your stash. If you aren’t familiar with what a page kit is, check out the posts linked below.
The layout I’m sharing today uses one of the page kits I had assembled quite awhile ago. Because of it, this layout took me less than 20 minutes to create. I filmed the process, you’ll find it below.
The Details…
Even though I put the page kit together, I still needed a few things to complete the layout as you’ll often find that you do with page kits. I added in some scrap pattern papers – a scrap piece from the Country Woods dsp and a leftover piece of a card base from when I created this layout.
When I put together these page kit layouts I really don’t over think it. I didn’t measure anything, just went with what I pulled out.
The background was a piece I had stamped for a class years ago! I usually have another one ready to go when I’m filming videos so I don’t have to do the whole thing. It speeds up the process. So I set it aside. Thankfully our paper crafting supplies don’t go bad right?! Although the stamp set (Forever Fern) is long ago retired but you can use this idea with any leaf or floral images.
There are only one thing on this layout that was not pulled from scraps – the gold twine, although that is retired. Otherwise everything came from scraps or was leftover from previous projects. After having this kit sitting around for at least a year, it feels good to have put it together!
Until next time,
