This weeks Memory Keeping Monday post is another process video – this one featuring our 2009 scrapbook album title page. I love making title pages but they can sometimes be a challenge when you don’t have any photos.
I use my title pages as an opportunity to just play with some fun products. They don’t have to match the colours in photos, there doesn’t need to be a certain theme – anything goes.
You can check out a few of my other title pages below:
Back to the layout…
For today’s title page, I used several different pieces from the Summer Nights Paper Pumpkin kit. I LOVED the postcards that were in this kit. But I knew that I wouldn’t use them as postcards and I didn’t need more cards so I decided to cut them up using the stitched triangle dies and create a fun border for a layout. I’m so happy I put them to good use and didn’t tuck them away in a drawer to be forgotten about!
If you aren’t familiar with Paper Pumpkin – it is basically a monthly crafty subscription kit.
Every month you receive a box full of crafty goodness. It includes everything you need to create whatever that months projects are (except scissors and adhesive). That means you get an exclusive stamp set, ink, any embellishments and all the pre cut and scored pieces! Most months the projects are cards but occasionally there will be 3D projects or tags.
You definitely don’t want to miss out! If you’re in Canada, subscribe here, before the 10th of the month in order to receive next months kit.
If you’d like to watch this layout come together, check out the process video below.
There’s still time to register for the Scrapbooking with Stamps class. Stamps are a fabulous resource to scrapbookers. In this class we are going to get creative with them. Over the course of the month, I’ll be sharing lots of ideas on how you can use your stamps to create beautiful layouts. I’d love for you to join me!
