I’ll be sharing an Inked Occasions Paper Pumpkin alternative – a scrapbook layout – in today’s blog post. It wasn’t hard to come up with a layout idea for the Inked Occasions kit with it’s beautifully patterned card bases and colour combo.
When my kit arrives each month I usually create one of each of the projects to familiarize myself with the contents of the kit. The next project I create is a scrapbook layout, which is what I’m sharing today. This year I’ve added in the challenge to use up the rest of the kit contents before the end of the month. It’s been fun!
This months kit includes all the supplies to create 9 beautiful cards (3 each of 3 designs). Here’s a look at them.

Let’s take a look at this months layout…
I’ve got to say I LOVE how this layout turned out! I used the Linked Together dies (available while supplies last) to cut the diamond shapes from the card bases that came in the kit. Then used a few of the embellishments to add some interest.
The Linked Together dies also have some simple flower dies and leaves that I die cut from some coordinating card stock to add a little something extra. And the Brushed Brass Butterflies and gold thread finish it off perfectly by tying in the gold detail on some of the card bases.
At the moment refill kits are not available to order for this kit, however, word has it they will be available sometime soon.
