Fresh Colour Inspiration #4

Welcome to my fresh colour inspiration #4. This weeks colour is Barely Blush a beautiful soft pink. We’ll be combining it with very vanilla and crumb cake for a bit of soft, vintage feel.

Measurements:

• Barely Blush: 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ scored at 4-1/4″ and scrap for stamping & die cutting
• Crumb Cake: 3-5/8″ x 4-7/8″ and scrap for stamping & die cutting
• Very Vanilla: 3-1/2″ x 4-3/4″
• Cream Ribbon: 5″
• Linen Thread: 8″
• Butterflies: x3

Instructions:

1. Choose desired borders and stamp them on the very vanilla cardstock. I stamped the butterflies and hearts in barely blush, and the rainbows and dots in crumb cake, alternating colours.
2. Splatter the vanilla cardstock using Stampin’ Blends.
3. Distress the edges using scissors.
4. Add this layer to the crumb cake card stock. And that to the card front.
5. Stamp the frame with the pointed ends with crumb cake ink onto the crumb cake cardstock and die cut it using the coordinating die.
6. Stamp desired greeting using early espresso ink onto the label.
7. Stamp the rectangle label using barely blush ink on barely blush cardstock. Die cut using coordinating die. Add it to the card front.
8. Add crumb cake label using dimensionals.
9. Wrap linen thread around the ribbon and tie a bow. Add to the card front using a mini glue dot.
10. Finish off with three barely blush butterflies.
