Grid design scrapbook layouts are some of my favourite layouts to create. There are so many options and interpretations, you can use them over and over and end up with a different layout each time.

- Grid Style Scrapbook Layout
This is one of the layouts I created for my Celebrate Together scrapbook class using leftover pieces from the Stampin’ Up!® Celebrate Together scrapbooking workshop kit. I shared another layout created using the same kit here.
I used 5-1/4″ x 5-1/4″ squares for the grid. Four of them are pattern paper and 4 are card stock (2 white and 2 blackberry bliss). The pattern paper was cut diagonally and one side flipped over to reveal the backside pattern. This is a simple way to switch up a grid style layout and to highlight both sides of the pattern paper.
To soften the starkness of the white title block, I used some fresh freesia ink and a blending brush. This creates the look of a shadow and adds so much to the layout. For the other white square I stamped the floral image from the Celebrate Together stamp set across the bottom.
I love adding ribbon, twine and embellishments to my layouts. So I pulled out some fresh freesia seam binding and purple sequins. Both of these items are on the last chance list and deeply discounted, at the time of writing this post.
Until next time,
