I’m home from the second of my spring retreat weekends and thought I’d pop in and share the tropical retreat gifts that I shared with attendees.
While waiting in line at the post office I found these fun tropical patterned heavy duty Ziplock bags that I thought would be perfect for their goody bags. The contents included a variety of adhesives. Because you can always use adhesives!
There’s always an option to come out on the Thursday which is really nice because you can get all set up and ease into a full weekend of crafting. Plus that gives you all day Friday to spend creating. So Thursday attendees received this adorable little notebook.
To decorate these adorable little notebooks that I found at Oomomo, I used the Paradise Palms bundle and one of the greetings from the Rainbow of Happiness stamp set. I love how cute they turned out.
Next up I had some bath bombs made by Oak & Aspen Soapery, a local small business. They smelled so delicious – especially when I opened the box they were in to hand them out. I always try to support a small business for at least one of my gifts each weekend. She pretty much took care of the packaging for me but I had to add a little tag:)
I used the sold out Timeless Tropical stamp set to create the tag. I love the pineapple in this set and the greeting Rest & Relax was just perfect!
The final gift was one of our acetate boxes cut in half to create a fun little way to package a mini Kind bar.
And here’s what it looks like open.
I love coming up with themes and gift ideas for my retreats. And then deciding how to decorate the gifts. There are just so many possibilities.
I’m excited to announce a fun, one day crop option that I’ll be offering beginning in the fall! This will be an event that I’ll be hosting every second month, beginning in September. Mark your calendars for September 9th and November 18th and then watch for more details. Registration will open in July.
I hope you enjoyed seeing the fun retreat gifts!
Until next time,
