As part of the Scrapbooking Global design team we participate in a monthly blog hop and challenges but anyone can join in if they’d like. We’d love to have you join us! To play tic tac toe simply choose any three boxes in a row (down, across or diagonally) and ensure that you include all 3 of those elements on your layout.
For my layout, I included two rows:
- Splatter, 3 or more photos and a 2-page layout
- The colour green, 2 or more photos and a tag
Let’s take a look…
I chose to document the day we rented Vespas and toured our city. We have a family trip to Italy planned for the spring and want to rent Vespas while we are over there so found a local bike shop that offers them as a rental. It was so fun to zip around the city with our son and his girlfriend. We stopped for coffee, hit up the legislative grounds and then ended the day with a delicious Italian meal. If you are local to the Edmonton area, I highly recommend this!
I love the texture on the dsp from the Season of Elegance paper pack! It actually looks like thick smears of paint! Because I didn’t have a stamp with a vespa on it, I decided to just go with a few stamped trees and some of the woven gold leaves to create the embellishment clusters.
The splatter images are from the latte love stamp set and then I added some additional splatters by putting a bit of early espresso ink onto a block and then added some water from my water painter and flicking it onto the page. This gives some larger dots of splatter but also a bit of fine splatter.
To add a bit more texture to the layout I used some of our two-toned card stock and distressed the edges with my snips. This gives it a nice rough edge with a bit of white peeking through since it has a white core.
Thanks so much for visiting my blog. I hope you enjoyed my layout share. Hop on over to Cheryl Taylor’s blog to see what she has created and then continue along for more inspiration.
Until next time,

The layout perfectly shows off your pictures. I love the one with the wall that has all the flowers.
