Today I thought I’d share my Scrap Your Stash layout that I created live for this weeks class. This class has been so much fun and is stretching my creativity. I am LOVING it.
What I love even more is that class attendees are starting to share their kits they’ve been putting together and the projects they’ve been making. That’s my favourite part!
I’ve loved this Lily Impressions dsp (free with a $60 purchase but only until the end of March!) since it was released but I must admit it’s been a bit intimidating because it’s such a different style than what I normally choose to work with. But I love everything that I’ve created. It pays to step out of your comfort zone!
It was fun to create this layout online as a Facebook live. I was trying to colour the embellishments with my blackberry blends and they were turning out more pink than purple. BUT someone who was on the live suggested I colour overtop of the purple with the blue to create the purple. I did it and the colour ended up being the PERFECT colour!
My personal challenge this week was to use up as much as I could of the Lily Impressions dsp that I had left. I’m happy to say that I ended up using all but a few scraps. I created 4 cards, 2 gift bags and three 12×12 layouts. Can’t share it all with you because many of those projects are exclusive to the class.
The good news is that you can still join in on the class! You’ll find all the information on the Let’s Get Scrappy Scrap Your Stash class here. Anyone world wide can participate.
