Today I’m sharing a couple peeks at this years 6″ x 8″ Christmas album using the Rustic Christmas Countdown kit and some products from the Season of Green & Gold suite. I love making mini albums and have done a Christmas mini album for many years. The 6×8 pocket page mini albums are my favourite because of their flexibility. You can switch out the order of the pages, or remove, or add inserts, as needed.
I don’t normally number my pages and do a December Daily type album because I don’t necessarily take photos every day during the month of December. However, I decided that’s what I wanted to do this year. So I turned to the Rustic Christmas Countdown kit to help me out.
Rustic Christmas Countdown Kit
The Rustic Christmas Countdown kit includes everything you need to make 25 individual paper envelopes to help you count down the days until Christmas. With beautiful paper greenery, bows, seasonal flowers, gems, and more, you have all the supplies you need to create some unique envelope designs. Then, simply fill them up with a small treat or a sweet note!
I thought this kit would be a great for a December daily style album but I knew I’d need to combine it with some pattern paper so I chose the Season of Green & Gold dsp.
Here’s a little peek at how things are coming along so far. I plan on finishing it up at this weekends retreat and will share a flip through of the album next week.
Just like every year, I have a tutorial available for this album here.
