Happy June 1st! Today I’m sharing with you a fun Robot Buddies scrapbook layout I created using the Robot Buddies card kit. But before we get into todays project let’s talk a little about kits.
- Kits help to inspire creative confidence. They are a quick & easy way to get a creative fix.
- You can choose the kit you want from a wide variety of options designed for different occasions and styles.
- Kits are perfect for new crafters.
- Kits are great for those who have time and/or space limitations and don’t want to collect crafting supplies. Everything comes in a pretty little box!
- Kits are a great way for new crafters to test drive the Stampin’ Up! creative experience.
Not only are kits great for the reasons above, but I love to have several on hand to use for gifts or if I get the urge to craft on the go. They make it so easy! And now (until June 30th) with the buy one, get one 50% off, it’s the perfect time to pick up a couple to have on hand.
Here are a few of my favourites and a brand new kit, just released today.
Just released today (June 1st) – the Love This Memory Notebook Kit (160168).
The A Million Thanks card kit has enough supplies to make 9 cards (3 each of 3 designs).
The Light the Candles card kit includes enough supplies to create 8 cards (4 each of 2 designs).
Although these are my favourite kits there are several other great kits available you can find them all here. And if you order any of them, and use this months host code S6M3WZEA you’ll be invited to my upcoming Kit Night where we will all gather virtually to create our kits.
Back to the project…
In the supply list at the bottom of this post I’ve listed the additional supplies I used to create the layout. All the stamps, embellishments and patterned paper are all from the Robot Buddies kit. I absolutely love how it turned out.
Really the only thing I added was a bit of ink, a 12×12 piece of card stock and some dies. Apart from that the rest is from the kit. I love to scrapbook using kits because they always have the cutest little embellishments that you can use to accent your layouts. Look at how adorable those little robots are with their googlie eyes.
I’ve combined two of my favourite new items to create this layout – the Stylish Shapes dies and the Alphabet Bundle! I love the stitching around those circles and that little punch that works so nicely with the alphabet set is amazing!
Here’s what the kit actually is intended to make.
I’ve already placed an order for a few of the kits to take advantage of the sale. If you’d like to do the same I’d love for you to join me at my Kit Night at the end of June.
