Today I’m sharing this fun Just My Type offset gatefold card that we created at our monthly team mystery stamping event. Every month we meet virtually and Kevin, one of our team members, leads us for a fun stamping session.
The offset gatefold is a twist on the common gatefold card. The difference is that the left panel is a bit bigger than the right panel.
It comes together pretty easily and I don’t think any instructions are needed apart from being mindful of where you add adhesive to your focal point flap (see photos below).
Measurements:
- Pretty Peacock: 4-1/4″ x 11″ scored at 3-3/4″ and 9-1/4″
- Crushed Curry: 3-1/2″ x 4″; 1-1/2″ x 4″ and 4″ x 5-1/4″ for inside
- Basic White: 3-3/4″ x 5″ (inside); 3″ x 4-1/4″ for the countryside corners die and 2-3/4″ x 5-1/2″ for stamping
- Delightfully Eclectic DSP: 3-1/4″ x 3-3/4″ and 1-1/4″ x 3-3/4″ (same or different patterns) and a 2″ x 2″ piece of the ledger pattern
- Pretty Peacock Sequins: x3
If you love fun folds, you should check out this months tutorial club where all 4 cards are focused on different fun folds. You can find more information on that here.
In this photo you can see that the focal point flap is adhered to the right panel – you can actually adhere it on either side but just choose one and then add the adhesive to that side.
And here it is open all the way.
Until next time,
