Today I’m sharing a technique that will show you how to get an embossed look in any colour!
I love the look of embossing. That beautiful shiny finish steps up a card to another level. But I don’t have a lot of variety in embossing powders and really don’t want to own a bunch of colours that I’ll only use every once in a while. Well today I’m going to share how you can use any ink colour and some clear embossing powder to get that beautiful embossed finish.
Here’s the card we are going to make.
Measurements:
- Thick Basic White: 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ scored at 4-1/4″
- Basic White: 3-3/4″ x 5″ embossed with the Painted Textures embossing folder; scraps for stamping
- Pool Party: 3″ x 3″ die cut with the 2nd largest Stylish Shapes circle
- Garden Green Ribbon: about 8″
- Seasonal Sequins: x3
