For this weeks scrap your stash project, I’m sharing this Harry Potter scrapbook layout. I love it when I take the time to create little kits if I come across the perfect paper for some photos. This layout was the result of one of those kits.
I had tucked a sheet of this fun Stampin’ Up! wizard paper (from years ago), a 12×12 piece of tranquil tide, an 8-1/2 x 11 piece of dapper denim (I think) and this photo into a page protector for when I had the chance to scrapbook it. This forward thinking makes it so easy!
If I had gone to scrapbook this photo without those supplies set aside, I wouldn’t have had the dsp or the card stock to match because they are all retired.
I wasn’t sure what I was going to do for embellishments. My initial plan was to fuzzy cut the wizards from the dsp but I think they would have been too small. So instead I used a couple of the smaller circles from the Stylish Shapes dies. Then I pulled out the supplies I’ve been working with for my scrap your stash and saw the cork stars and glittery embellishments. I figured they would be a great addition and even ended up using the rest of the glittery embellishments. I love when that happens:)
