For this weeks summer scrap your stash project, I’m sharing this Oh Happy Day layout. I chose a single 4″ x 6″ photo of my husband and mother-in-law from Mother’s Day 2019.
This is the 3rd layout as I work through my stash for my summer scrap your stash challenge. Here’s a peek at some of the products I started with.
Most of the patterned papers and a sheet of stickers are from Close to My Heart, the butterfly vellum is from Vicki Boutin, the navy geometric patterned paper is a retired SU! paper, as are the embellishments. One set of alphabet stickers is from Ali Edwards and the other is leftover from a SU! Project Life kit.
I didn’t end up using the navy floral patterned paper because I absolutely love the back of it and wanted to save it for a future layout.
The Details…
Here’s what I ended up with. I was inspired by a layout created by @lauraalbertscrafts on Instagram. Her layout includes more photos and smaller squares but I loved the idea of the small squares above & below the photo.
I ended up using an entire sheet of 12″ x 12″, a couple scraps and a few stickers from the sticker sheet. It doesn’t make a huge dent in my stash, but it’s fun to use some of the products I’ve had laying around for years!
If you’d like to join me on this summer scrap your stash challenge, be sure to tag me when you share your layouts on social media. You can find me as @stampedtreasures on Facebook and @sherrystamps on Instagram.
Until next time,
