Today I’m sharing with you this festive & fun pocket card. This is the same as one of the ones I shared in last Fridays post but I used completely different product. This one is so bright & cheerful you can’t help by smile!
This is such a fun card to create and uses lots of patterned paper! So pull out your patterned paper and make a couple of these then put the strip to use and create another card! If you do this you’ll have successfully used up an entire sheet of 12×12 patterned paper and made 3 cards.
Measurements:
- Shaded Spruce: 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″
- Patterned Paper: 5-1/4″ x 12″ scored at 4″ and 8″ then cut the left panel from the upper right score line to the lower left corner and the right panel from the upper left corner to the lower right corner. See this video for a better explanation of this. You’ll also need 1/2 of a 1/2″ circle.
- Basic White: 3-3/4″ x 4-3/4″ ; 2-1/2″ x 2-1/2″ cut with the 3rd largest Stylish Shapes circle and 1/2″ strip for the greeting
- Vellum: 3″ x 3″ cut with the 2nd largest Stylish Shapes Circle
- Black Twine: 8″
- Iridescent Ribbon: 3″
Here’s a peek at it with the insert pulled out. I stamped that cute beaver in the corner and coloured him in. This is such a great card design!
And like I mentioned above – use the 1-1/2″ x 12″ strip that you have left after cutting the supplies to make two of these to create a card similar to the one shown below. All I did was cut the strip into three 4″ strips and added them to a card base.
Until next time,
