Today I’m sharing a simple double flap fold card with you using the Perennial Postage bundle. This was a card that I created for a swap back in December.
Measurements:
- Blackberry Bliss (card base & flap): 6-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ scored at 2-1/4″ ; 2″ x 3-1/2″ scored at 5/8″ and scrap for die cutting leaves
- Basic White: 4″ x 5-1/4″ for inside; scrap for die cutting postage shape
- Highland Heather: scrap for die cutting leaves
- Pattern Paper (Perennial Lavender): 2″ x 5-1/4″
- Threads from Herringbone Ribbon: about 10″
- Purple Fine Shimmer Gems: x3
The leaves are die cut from the Notes of Nature dies but any leaves could be used. And the greeting was inked using Highland Heather and Basic Black Stampin’ Write Markers.
The assembly for the card is pretty straightforward. Just one tip for you… tuck the narrow piece of the flap under the white inside layer before you adhere it. You can see how it all comes together in this reel.
There’s still time to register for this months Perennial Postage class to go. Find all the details here.
Until next time,
