This weeks memory keeping project is this Niagara Falls layout I created with photos from my childhood. In grades 4 & 5 I had the BEST teacher. To this day he’s still my favourite. He happened to be my best friends Dad but even if we weren’t best friends he still would have been the best teacher.
For both those years he took us on overnight field trips – one year was to Niagara Falls and the other to Quebec City. We were a grade 4/5 split French immersion class so the trip to Quebec City was great for practicing our French. I have an album of photos from my childhood so I’ve gradually creating scrapbook layouts for them.
I thought the Sunny Days pattern paper would be a great fit for these old Polaroid photos. The writing on the bottom of the photos is fabulous! Not only does it tell me what, and who, is in the photos but it’s also a great example of what my hand writing looked like at the time.
I’ve been participating in Scrapping Reflections Follow a Sketch February and this is my day 3 project. If you follow me on Instagram (@sherrystamps), I’ll have a reel showing how this layout comes together.
Until next time,
