For this weeks scrap your stash layout, I’m sharing this ‘Click’ layout highlighting a photo of my son and his girlfriend. If this is your first time visiting, I’ve challenged myself to use bits and pieces from my stash this summer. This can be anything from supplies that I’ve had for years, die cut/punched shapes that never got used, leftover retired embellishments… basically anything goes.
I’ve linked the previous layouts below, if you’d like to check them out.
Here’s a look at what I pulled out to use on this layout. I didn’t use it all but did manage to put some of it to use.
There is so much randomness in this photo and some of it, I’m not sure where it came from. However, I will try to indicate the source where I can. Anything that is still current with SU! I’ve linked at the bottom of this post.
Supply List
- Chevron Patterned Paper is from the Dandy Designs DSP that was available as a SAB product.
- The watercolour looking patterned paper is from Close to My Heart. Every Little Thing I believe is the collection name.
- Die cut clouds were done using the Give It a Whirl Dies.
- Freckled Fawn – label shapes; wood cloud shapes and chipboard pieces.
- ColorCast Designs – acrylic ‘Click’
- The coral strip is a label shape from a leftover SU! kit, I cut it in half lengthwise and stretched it as much as I could to make it appear as though it’s one long strip.
- The clear lined paper sticker at the bottom was leftover from a really old SU! Project Life kit.
- Fabric label was on a piece of clothing I bought. I loved it so much I kept it. Yes that is kind of weird and random but it was perfect for adding a bit of texture to the layout.
- Dots are the retired Glossy Dots Assortment
I love this layout design because it allows you to use up all sorts of random bits and pieces all up the seem of the patterned papers.
