Good morning! I hope you are having a great weekend. We got a huge dump of snow and as I write this it is still snowing. Hopefully it stops soon… I don’t mind snow just not a huge dump of it.
Anyway, today’s project is a birthday card I did at a private stamp-a-stack a few weeks ago. It was inspired by a card done by Heather Summers. I don’t know about you but I am loving our washi tape and the Season of Style washi tape (132155) is my favorite. Even though it was designed for Christmas, it can be used for so many other occasions! Today’s card is evidence of that. By throwing in a little crushed curry with the mix of cherry cobbler and old olive – it takes away the traditional red and green Christmas look.
The card is pretty straightforward but here’s a list of supplies if you’d like to recreate it:
- Cardstock – whisper white, old olive, crushed curry and cherry cobbler
- Inks – cherry cobbler
- Stamps – Remembering Your Birthday
- Accessories: star punch (from the Christmas trio – I can’t remember the name); season of style washi tape, rhinestones, big shot die cut machine, apothecary accents framelits.
Enjoy the rest of your weekend! Thanks for stopping by!
Sherry
