Warm Wishes Paper Pumpkin Alternate

In todays post I’m sharing a Warm Wishes Paper Pumpkin alternate with you – a scrapbook layout! I love to use any of our kits (Paper Pumpkin or from our Kit Collection) to scrapbook.

The Warm Wishes Pumpkin kit is the November 2023 kit and includes all the supplies to create 8 treat boxes like the ones shown below. I plan on using these as neighbour gifts this year.

Next months kit includes all the supplies you need to create 9 cards (3 each of 3 designs); envelopes and an acetate box. The box makes easy storage of a finished product or allows you to gift your cards to someone. The kit also comes with a belly-band, so you can add your own personal touch to the box.

Let’s take a look at this months layout…

Because this months kit coordinates with last months kit, I wanted to create a facing page to this one that I created last month. I grabbed the leftover bits & pieces from last months kit, a piece of 12″ x 12″ white card stock, and some pecan pie card stock. And here’s what I came up with.

I cut apart the boxes and used only the two fronts and one of the roofs. The trees, well they look more like bushes, are leftover from last months kit. The door is from this months exclusive stamp set. It was stamped in Memento and then coloured in using Stampin’ Blends. All the strips of paper are from the box bottoms and the glimmer paper is from last months kit.

Measurements:

Basic White: 12″ x 12″ and scrap for stamping
Pecan Pie: 3-3/4″ x 5-1/4″ (x2)
Green Stripe: 1″ x 3-3/4″ and 1/2″ x 3-1/2″
Boho Blue: 1/4″ x 3-3/4″ and 1/2″ x 3-3/4″
Circle is leftover from last months kit (it’s about 1-3/8″)
Twine is from my stash
Gold Dots (for door knobs) are leftover from a past kit

Here are the two layouts side by side.

I didn’t want the leftover pieces of the houses to go to waste so I created a couple tags with them.
