Good morning! Have you noticed that there are a couple digital items that you can select for free in the Sale-a-Bration flyer? One of them is a CD where you will enjoy the digital version of all the Sale-a-Bration items and the other is the Lemonade Stand digital disc which includes:
- 65-piece stamp brush set
- 7 designer series papers
- 14 embellishments
- 12 greeting card templates
- 12 one-page templates
And the colors are fabulous – Basic Gray, Bermuda Bay, Crumb Cake and Crushed Curry. Don’t you just love that the colors never retire in MDS?!
Anyway, I wanted to show you a couple projects that I created using a couple of the templates included on the lemonade stand disc. Templates really are the BEST way to start – they can save you so much time!
This first one is a hybrid card that I created – the card front is the template – with no changes. I printed 4 to a page from home so was able to create these really quickly. Then I matted on a piece of summer sun. I chose summer sun because when you print from home the colors never turn out to be true SU! colors – that’s what the Stampin’ Up! printer is for. So summer sun was the closest match, then added it to a baja breeze card base. The little accent is one of our bitty buttons (the heart shape) with some bakers twine fed through. Super simple and took all of about 5 minutes!
This next project is the template that I started with to create my layout. It again was from the lemonade stand disc. After a few simple changes, here’s what I came up with…
You can see that I made a few changes but the layout is basically the same. I love to start with a template, sometimes it looks similar to what I started with and sometimes you can’t even tell. Everything can be modified on the templates which makes them a great place to begin!
Thanks for stopping by!
Sherry
