Welcome to another memory keeping Monday. Today I have a layout to share that I created for the January color challenge on the Scrapbooking Global – Stampin’ Up! Facebook group. If you aren’t a member of that group and are a scrapbooker, , you should definitely go become a member! The challenge was to use the following colors:
- Cajun Craze
- Early Espresso
- Old Olive
- Whisper White
I’m still working through some older photos as I try to catch up on my memory keeping. These photos are from 2001! I’m happy to say that that album is almost finished! I think I only have about 6 layouts left to finish. I think finishing an entire album is such a great feeling.
I have a love for the look you get when you mix fonts. I always love stamp sets that are designed with mixed fonts and so it’s natural for me to love mixing alphabet sets when I create my titles. I just love the look! Here I combined the lined alphabet and the labeler alphabet stamp sets.
I used the Incredible Like You stamp set from the Occasions catalogue, to create my accents for the layouts. I love the leaves in this set. And then used the stamp with the lines to create lines for journaling. It’s hard to tell from the photo but the yellow border is the tiny little flower stamped multiple times all the way across.
I’ve included a full supply list at the bottom of this post. If you’d like to order anything, you can shop my Canadian online store here. Be sure to use this months host code for a free gift.
Have a creative day!
