Good morning! You’ll be happy to hear that things are now back to normal – just the regular busy and not crazy busy. I have so many things to share but just haven’t had time to take photos and edit them. Now that life is back to normal, you will start to see more projects, which I know is the reason you stop by!
I have a home decor project to share with you today which I don’t think I’ve shared with you yet. I know I’ve said it before but I love the Timeless Portrait Product Suite (page 78). This is actually the first piece created for my new stamp room. It’s cased right from the catalogue with just a few minor adjustments. I printed my photo in black & white and it turned out a bit more blue than I had hoped but I think it still works.
This project is really simple to put together, simply paint a cross stitch ring (I don’t know what they are called) black. Trace the inner circle onto the back of a piece of dsp and cut it out. Add a piece of fabric to the ring, pull it tight and trim the excess fabric. Use Tombow to adhere the dsp and then decorate as desired. I’d like to create a few of these, showcasing some of my favorite photos and have a wall similar to the one pictured in the catalogue. It looks so beautiful!
Thanks so much for stopping by!
