Good morning! I can’t believe it’s mid week already! I’m excited because tonight we are going out to Cosmos for greek food to celebrate my dad’s and Jordyn’s birthdays. Their birthdays 3 days apart so every year we celebrate ‘the birthday week’. Celebrations of various types go on throught the week. Lots of fun. One of the things that I am soooo grateful for is that my kids love all types of foods and are willing to try pretty much anything. Calamari will definitely be on the table tonight – both of them love it – Woot! Woot!
It’s funny because Eathan is already planning his birthday meal (we have one at home and then they get to choose a restaurant for another night). He has picked shrimp and salad so far:) I love that boy! So happy it’s not hot dogs (which both kids can’t stand – yippee!) or chicken fingers.
Anyway on to what you are really here for… today’s project. Every year I try to make something for the kids for their birthdays. This year it will be something that they can hang in their new rooms. Subway art is huge right now so I took that idea and created a piece all about Jordyn – all the things I love about her and things she should remember to do always. I’m really happy with the way it turned out. What do you think?
As an aside – notice what the frame is standing on? It’s a pile of boxes – that are packed and ready to move. Can you tell I’m a little excited?! Still no date yet but I’m not leaving everything until the last minute so bit by bit it’s coming along.
Thanks for stopping by today!
Sherry
