Good morning! Hope you had a great weekend and are looking forward to the week ahead. I certainly am – we are expecting above 0 temperatures all week. Finally, some nice weather!
Every month my upline, Winona Semler, has a group meeting (coffee talk) where her immediate downline get together and share, swap and stamp. This month, Donna Wizniuk and I presented and as a thank you, she gave us each this adorable sticky note holder. They are so cute and just what I needed, I can never find my sticky notes on my desk, now they stand pretty!
This is really easy to make so I thought I’d share the instructions with you today…
- Start with a 3-1/2″x11″ piece of cardstock – old olive was used here.
- Score at 2-3/4″ and 5-1/2″.
- Create a mountain fold at the 2-3/4″ mark and valley fold at 5-1/2″.
- Cut a 3-1/2″x5-1/2″ piece of cardstock in the same color and attach to the 2-3/4″ piece so that it looks like the photo below when it stands up.
- Using old olive ink and the Clearly for You stamp set, stamp a variety of images (you will need 8) onto naturals ivory cardstock.
- Use the 1-1/4″ square punch and punch out the images.
- Sponge around the edges using old olive ink.
- Cut a 2-3/4″x5-1/4″ piece of old olive, on which you will attach your stamped squares, leaving about 1/16″ all the way around each square.
- Attach this to the right side of your 3-1/2″x5-1/2″ old olive panel.
- Cut out the 2nd and 3rd biggest flowers from the Fun Flowers die (Occasions Mini), crinkle them in the palm of your hand and sponge around the edges using soft suede ink.
- Layer them, punch a hole in the centre and insert a vintage brad.
- Add this to your sticky note holder using dimensionals.
- Add your sticky notes and you are done!
So quick, so easy, so perfectly perfect! Have you ever read the book Mooseltoe? That’s a take on a saying in that book, my kids love it. Thanks for stopping by this morning! Have a great day.Sherry
