Stampin' Blends & Alcohol Technique

Today I’m sharing the Stampin’ Blends & Alcohol technique. This is a fun new-to-me technique that I’ve put off trying because I thought it would be messy. I was wrong! It was quick & easy.

I ended up turning the fun background I created into a card using the Nuts About Squirrels stamp set.

To create this fun background you’ll need:

Stampin’ Blends in a few different colours. I recommend about 3 and the dark version of each colour. For this card I used: dark Cinnamon Cider; dark Mango Melody and dark Cajun Craze.
Vellum Cardstock
Isopropyl Alcohol (99%) – the higher the % the better it works.
Water Painter or a paint brush and dish for the acohol
Paper Towel

To create the background for this card I used Stampin’ Blends in the following colours: dark Polished Pink; dark Misty Moonlight and dark Mint Macaron.
