Today I’m sharing a fun stack cut and shuffle technique. A card design created with 3 pieces of 6×6 patterned paper and no waste! Grab your patterned paper and come join me!
Measurements:
- Crumb Cake: 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ scored at 4-1/4″ (x3)
- Pebbled Path: 3-7/8″ x 5-1/8″ (x3)
- Basic White: 4″ x 5-1/4″ (x3) and scraps for die cutting
- One Horse Open Sleigh DSP: 6×6 – three patterns in various scales
- Vellum: scraps for die cutting
All three of the cards have the same base and layers. I simply switched up the focal points to make them a bit different.
To see how to cut the dsp so that there’s no waste, check out the video below.
Here are a few other alternates. These ones using the Hello Irresistible DSP.
For these two sets of cards I used the Layering Leaves stamp set and Nested Essentials dies.
If you give this technique a try, I’d love to see what your cards look like!
Until next time,

Although I commented on your video about this cutting technique I just wanted to say once again “Well Done!” This is an excellent technique for beginners and avid stampers alike. I love the different looks you get from the stack. Thanks for your inspiration.

Stunning cards thank you so much for sharing, just wondering what envelopes you used as standard stampinup envelopes are too wide for the 6×6 papers I have found?

Hi Fran, all the dsp is cut down to fit the cards I make so it doesn’t stay 6×6:)
