Good morning! Sorry for my lack of posting yesterday. Just too much to get done and not enough time.
I realized I haven’t shared very many projects using products from the Holiday Mini yet. It’s not that I haven’t been using them. I’ve been spending a lot of time planning upcoming classes, clubs and I’ve had a few custom orders lately that I’ve been working on so things have been keeping me busy. I need a couple days to get my photos taken and edited! I’m hoping that happens soon!
I made this card quite just after receiving my holiday mini order. I don’t think I’ve shared it with you. My all time favorite thing in the Holiday Mini is the Spice Cake dsp (124003). It is gorgeous pictured in the mini but when you see it for real, it is stunning! I’ve almost gone through an entire package and have two more on order. On to the card, I made a lolli (I think that’s what they are called) using out fabulous new Simply Scored Tool (another must have!). It was a long time ago, but I believe I started with a 1″x12″ strip of dsp and scored every 1/4″ to create it. Then I added one of the HUGE Spice Cake buttons in the centre. It took me awhile to find a use for these buttons, they are really big, but I love them on my scrapbook layouts and they do make a fabulous centre for the lollies. I think the rest of the card is pretty self-explanatory but if you have any questions, I’d be happy to answer them for you.
I’m off to set up for stamp club! Have a wonderful day!
Sherry
