Special Moments Daffodil Card

Today I’m sharing this Special Moments daffodil card. It uses a couple of upcoming Sale-a-Bration items. Be sure to mark your calendars for January 4th – the first day of SAB and the brand new January to June 2022 Mini Catalogue.

The first Sale-a-Bration (SAB) item that is featured is one of my favourite offerings – the Special Moments stamp set. This set is full of FABULOUS usable greetings. I say useable because sometime you get sets that have greetings in them that many people would never use. I would use every single one of these greetings.

The second SAB item is the Daffodil Afternoon DSP. There is a coordinating stamp set in the JJ mini but I don’t have it yet so just fussy cut a daffodil from the dsp to use as an embellishment.

I love how simple this card is. It’s an easy layout to reproduce with anything you have on hand. The layered label shapes take away some of the business of the background dsp.

Measurements:

• Mossy Meadow: 5-1/2” x 8-1/2” scored at 4-1/4”
• Very Vanilla: 1-1/2” x 2-1/2” and 4” x 5-1/4” (for inside)
• Pear Pizzazz: 2” x 3-1/4”
• DSP: 4” x 5-1/4” and fussy cut daffodil
• Ribbon: 6”

Instructions:

1. Add the dsp to the card front.
2. Die cut the pear pizzazz card stock with the 3^rd largest rectangular label shaped die from the Hippo & Friends dies.
3. Die cut the very vanilla card stock with the 2^nd largest rectangular label shaped die from the Hippo & Friends dies.
4. Stamp desired greeting, using mossy meadow ink, onto the vanilla label.
5. Add a bit of seal adhesive to the back of the greeting and add ribbon.
6. Add that to the pear pizzazz label shape using dimensionals.
7. Adhere that to the card front using Stampin’ Seal.
8. Add fussy cut daffodil to the card front using a dimensional.
9. Stamp desired greeting to the larger vanilla piece and add it to the inside of your card.
