Happy New Year’s eve to you! I hope you have lots of fun plans for tonight!
Today I thought I’d share with you my downline gifts for this year. I completely cased this idea from Heather Summers – they are so cute! Inside each snowman is a Dove chocolate bar – LOVE that chocolate! I created the face, buttons and heart using My Digital Studio and then printed them on my home computer, trimmed them and wrapped them around the candy bar. So simple! This is what Jordyn made for her teacher gifts – she even sewed the hats herself! She’s generally not too interested in crafty things so I was thrilled when she expressed an interest in making these little treats for her teachers.
As I was going through my photos yesterday trying to decide what to post today, I realized that I hadn’t shared my Mom’s Christmas card so I have one last Christmas card to share with you.
She stamped the tree from Jolliest Time of the Year onto a shape cut using the Labels Framelits dies (available Jan. 4th). It’s hard to tell but the little snowflakes have glitter sprinkled on them – I love it – thanks Mom!
I’ll be back tomorrow to show you what I’ve done to all the beautiful cards that I received this year. Thanks for stopping by!
Sherry
