Looking for a way to kick start your crafting? Scraplift or CASE a layout it’s a fabulous way to get your creative mojo flowing. If you’ve taken a long break or have hit a creative road block, this is the perfect way to get back into the groove.
Even after scrapbooking for 16 years I am still inspired by so many scrapbookers. If I’m short on time or am stumped for a layout design, I love to turn to Pinterest, find a layout that I love and scrap lift it. Scrap lifting is basically mimicking the layout in some way, using the layout or positioning of the photos and embellishments. Usually using different products but sometimes you may end up using the same products.
Todays inspiration
For todays layout I took my own advice and scrap lifted this layout by Jen Chapin. I loved the collection of circles. I recreated it using a vertical photo, a 1-1/2″ circle punch and some coordinating pattern papers. This would also be a great layout to recreate using scraps!
If you’d like to watch me create this layout, I’ve filmed a process video below. Happy to have another layout done for my 2017 album!
Have a creative day!
