You know that I love Paper Pumpkin, Stampin’ Up!’s monthly crafting subscription kit. I’ve been a subscriber since the beginning. BUT I make a LOT of cards. I make them for classes, samples, experimenting with new techniques and to send out. If you follow me on Facebook and Instagram you know that I challenged myself to send out 365 cards in 2018. Well I’ve been keeping track and at the end of March I was at 112. I had NO idea I sent out so many cards. That goal is more than achievable.
So when my Paper Pumpkin kit comes I don’t always make it into what it’s meant to be. I LOVE to scrapbook so I will often turn the contents of the kit, or some of them, into a layout.
One kit can go a LONG way! I loved the florals in the February 2018 kit. I created one of each of the intended projects in the kit, 4 more alternate cards – which have already been mailed – I forgot to take photos – and then this layout. I still have more pieces but I’ve added them to my supplies for my travelers notebook. They will be perfect for accents on some of those pages.
March’s kit was very vintage, which isn’t my usual style. I likely won’t make any of the cards but I will turn them into some GREAT accents on heritage layouts. Here’s a layout I created a few days ago when I had a few minutes to craft with no objective in mind apart from just crafting for the sake of crafting.
Whether you love to make cards, scrapbook, junk journal or plan, Paper Pumpkin is a great subscription kit. The value is incredible! Every month you receive an exclusive stamp set, an ink spot and all the supplies to create whatever the project(s) is (are) for that month. If you haven’t given it a try, now is a great time because if you subscribe by May 10th, new subscribers will receive their first 2 months at 50% off.
Have a creative day!
