Welcome to the Scrapbooking Global April 2022 blog hop. This months theme is vellum. Vellum is such a fun product to play with and there’s so much you can do with it! I can’t wait to see what everyone creates.
As part of the Scrapbooking Global design team we participate in a monthly blog hop and challenges but anyone can join in if they’d like. We’d love to have you join us! Be sure to join the Scrapbooking Global – Stampin’ Up! Facebook Group so you know when the sign up starts for our next hop.
For my vellum layout I decided to add colour to our regular vellum card stock with our blending brushes. I used night of navy, pool party and real red ink. You can see that the colour is subtle but still noticeable. Then I die cut various sized circles using a new die set that will be available on May 3rd called Stylish Shapes dies.
Because you can see most adhesives through the vellum I used a little multipurpose glue and my finger to spread it over the back of the vellum to adhere it. In most areas you can’t see where the glue is unless you look really closely.
To add a bit more colour to the layout I used a couple images (the squiggly line and the little dots) from the Hello Beautiful stamp set and a couple strips of dsp from a new paper pack that will be available beginning May 3rd, 2022 called Hues of Happiness. It’s a very florally dsp but the backside has these beautiful watercolour type backgrounds, which is where my strips came from.
Thanks so much for stopping by today. Be sure to head on over to Cheryl Taylor’s blog to see what she created. Enjoy hopping along to see the beautiful projects that everyone else created!
Until next time,

This is a super fun layout. The picture with the syringe makes me laugh. The vellum circles which look like bubbles, are a perfect lighthearted addition to the page. Great job
