Good morning! I hope you had a great weekend. Ours was busy with a soccer bottle drive, birthday party, trip to the Fort Saskatchewan trade fair, a soccer game and a visit to Grandma in the hospital. That was in addition to the everyday things that still need to get done. It’s nice to be busy though.
I meant to share todays project with you in April when you could actually get the product but it just didn’t happen. I’m hoping to actually get a a chance to play around with some new products today but I have a daughter home sick so I may not get much crafting time in. I’m itching to play with some of my new products. I’ve had them for almost 3 weeks and apart from assembling the stamps, I haven’t touched them.
Anyway, on to todays project. This is one of the layouts I did for my scrapbook club last month. The photos were taken at a 90th birthday party (Marcels great aunt), the day that Marcels mom slipped and broke her foot. We found out yesterday the birthday girl is now in the hospital with pneumonia.
Here are some close ups of the accents on the page. This will be where I will journal. I love the layered flowers of the boho blossoms punch. I have had that punch for years and have used it more over the last couple months that I have that entire time. I’m loving it!
If you read scrapbook magazines, you will see these ‘badges’ (I don’t know what to call them) often. They are quite trendy right now. So I showed the ladies how you can create your own using products that you already have on hand. So much fun and a great addition to a layout.
