Good morning! I can’t believe it’s the end of May already – the last month has just flown by! There’s only a few days left to order retiring product. The project I have to share with you today was meant to be shared months ago but I forgot about it until I found it in one of my bins. It’s created using two of the scallop envelope shapes cut from that die (113462) – which is only available for another few days!
To create it instead of folding along all the score lines, you fold the two side flaps in on both of them and then fold the top scalloped flap down on one of them. Adhesive goes along the narrow side flaps and down the bottom so the two stick together to create a pocket. However, if you’d like to emboss it, you want to do that before you stick them together. For the sample we brayered summer starfruit onto the chevron embossing folder and ran one of the envelopes through making sure not to emboss the scalloped flap. Love the look of it!
After the pocket is assembled, it’s ready to embellish. This one is embellished using whisper white taffeta, one of our lovely doilies, and scraps of the Patio Party and Natural Composition dsp papers.
Visit my online store today to pick up your scallop envelope bigz die (113462) before they are sold out and gone for good!
Thanks for stopping by!
