Today I’m sharing a few Santa Express Memories & More card ideas. After making my Santa Express holiday album I had some Memories & More cards leftover so I decided to turn them into holiday cards.
Most of the pieces are cut from the cards, but I did throw in a few things. You can find a full supply list at the bottom of this post.
The Details…
This first card is just two of the same 4″ x 6″ cards. The border was trimmed down on one of them and then I cut out the focal point from the other and popped it up onto the trimmed card. For a bit of added texture, I used some puff paint.
For this second card I added in a couple 3″ x 4″ pieces of the coordinating Santa Express DSP and a snowy white velvet die cut circle. Santa and the reindeer are both cut from 3″ x 4″ cards.
I love this sweet Santa image, I just had to use it on another card. By using the Framed Floret dies and a bit of vellum I created the look of a mirror or frame. It turned out so adorable. The Happy Holidays is one of the stickers in the Memories & More card pack.
I found the red/green polka dot pattern a bit busy on this last card so I used a piece of vellum to tone it down. The strips of dsp are leftover pieces from M&M cards that were cut down and Santa in the train was fussy cut from a 3″ x 4″ card.
You can see how these cards were created in this weeks Facebook live. Catch the replay here.
The Santa Express Memories & More cards make for quick & easy projects but can easily be stepped up with a bit of layering like I’ve done in these samples. I hope you enjoyed today’s projects.
Until next time,
