Just returned from a fabulous retreat out at Bittern Lake. A weekend full of crafting – can’t get any better than that! I thought I’d share a few photos from the weekend.
Here’s the room all set up and ready for crafters to arrive. I went with a pineapple theme for the gift bags and tags this year. They turned out so cute!
And then of course there were pillow gifts.
There was so much food all weekend! Lots of crafting time – I managed to finish 24 layouts and plan two of my April classes. Woohoo! Several attendees squeezed in some naps, went for a walk and just enjoyed each others company. These are really some of the best weekends!
I still have a few spots left in my upcoming retreats, here are the dates, if you’re interested, let me know and I can fill you in on all the details.
- Local Retreat (in my home): May 3rd to May 5th – find all the information here
- Fall Bittern Lake Retreat: October 25th to October 27th, 2019 – 7 spots left
- Spring Bittern Lake Retreat: March 2020 – weekend to be confirmed (either 13th to 15th or 20th to 22nd) – 3 spots left
One of the many things I love about retreats is the opportunity to try different things and learn from others. Becky had these fun templates from Creative Memories. I gave one a shot for this layout of some photos my husband took of the sunrise in Fiji.
I love how it turned out. And what’s even better is that I used up a bunch of retired patterned papers. That ALWAYS feels good!
Hope you can join me at my next retreat!
Have a creative day!
