For this weeks memory keeping Monday post, I’m sharing some Rainbow Celebration kit alternatives. The Rainbow Celebration kit is one of the products you can choose for free with a qualifying purchase until February 28th, 2025, or while supplies last.
The kit includes the supplies to create 2 each of the three cards shown below. This is a no stamping kit which makes these cards really quick & easy to put together.
They are such fun cards but, just like I do with my Paper Pumpkin kits, I wanted to create a layout with the contents. With a bit of extra card stock and some ink, I managed to come up with this fun birthday layout.
I added in the following supplies:
- 1 sheet of Summer Splash 12″ x 12″ card stock, which I gutted with a 1″ border for the left page and then used the inside piece on the right hand page
- 2 sheets of basic white 12″ x 12″ card stock
- Basic Black card stock to mat my photos
- Black Twine
- 8 Iridescent Faceted Gems
- Blending Brush and some Summer Splash ink
Everything else came from the kit.
Tip
I always say to class attendees – don’t throw anything away until you are finished working with the kit or collection.
Even the negative space of die cut pieces can come in handy! I used the negative space from the die cut cloud pieces to create a subtle background on the left page.
Here’s a closer look at the second page.
After creating three cards and this 2-page spread, I still had a few more supplies left so I made up one more card. This one is a 6″ x 6″ card. So a little larger than normal.
I didn’t have any more English greetings so I used the word bravo and a couple of the French greetings on the inside.
