Pretty Pillowbox Gift Packaging

For the last day of the 12 Days of Holiday Tags, Bags & Gift Packaging series, I’ll be sharing a Pretty Pillowbox gift packaging idea.

I knew I wanted to use the pretty pillbox die at some point over the course of the series but I didn’t want to create just a plain pillow box. I spent a bit of time playing around with it after seeing a project by Stampin’ Gala. In order to use the Kraft paper, which is 6″ x 6″ I had to adjust the dimensions. I love how it turned out!

The poinsettia was cut from red velvet paper using the Poinsettia Dies. I just love how realistic the velvet makes the flower look.

I’m going to make these for one of our dinners when we entertain over the holidays. There are so many textures between the Kraft card stock (which feels very different from our normal card stock), the velvet paper and the metallic paper. It’s just so pretty!

I added some paper shred and a couple Lindt balls to the box but I was excited to see that a gift card will also fit inside!
