Yesterday I spent the afternoon playing with the April 2016 Paper Pumpkin kit. I love the little wreath in this kit but wanted to create some alternate projects. I’m going to order a refill kit so that I can get enough supplies to make the wreath as well. I had too many ideas for those little leaves and am afraid I won’t have enough to cover the entire wreath. Today I thought I’d share a few of the projects that I created using the stamps (and a few of the supplies) that came in this kit.
This wreath didn’t come out as nicely as I would have liked. I think it needs to be fuller. But you can’t love everything you make right?! The flowers were punched using the little flower from the Itty Bitty Accents punch pack (#133787) – which is retiring:( I will not be getting rid of this punch – it’s one of my most used punches! And then the centers are espresso candy dots – also retiring.
And then I also had to play with the free bonus set that was included in last months kit. These flowers are so pretty and can’t wait to use them on a layout. I’m getting together with some friends on Friday to scrapbook and I’ve got layout plans for this set and the leaves from the kit. I’ll share those with you next week:)
