Good morning! I’m happy to share another layout with you today. I created this a few weeks ago and was so happy with the way it turned out I have it in a frame in my studio. I LOVE so much of the designer series paper in this catalogue, in particular the Pocket Full of Posies dsp. It is so different from anything SU! has ever offered.
I decided to use it to scrapbook a photo of my mom from her teens. I’ve had a copy of this photo sitting around for eons just waiting for the perfect paper to come along. My starting point for this layout was one that SU! did as a sample using this paper but I made a few changes to make it my own.
The tag was created using the Two Tags Die and the Beautiful Butterflies Die. The journalling reads “Mom was chosen, by 630 Ched, to be the 1965-66 Platter Princess for exemplifying all the fine qualities found in the youth of Edmonton”. Off to left, I used a vellum envelope to include the sheet that includes all the hits from the day that she had saved.
The banner was created using the Petite Pennants Builder punch (122361), I just cannot get enough of this punch. It is great for so many different things! I will be posting a few additional samples on the Stamped Treasures Facebook page over the next day or two. Be sure to become a fan so that you don’t miss out!
Thanks for stopping by today! Until next time,
Sherry
