No Sew Mini Album

Today I’m sharing a simple no sew mini album I created using an upcoming paper pack from Stampin’ Up! called Delicate Dreams. This specialty paper pack is SO pretty! And it features an upcoming new in colour – Hydrangea Hue.

As much as I love the paper, this post is about the album. This style of an album can be created using any paper, for any theme, in a variety of different sizes. I used this tutorial to create the album but changed out the paper size from 12″ x 8″ to 12″ x 6″. The finished album size is 5″ x 6″. Otherwise the album assembly is the same.

Let’s take a closer look…

Once I decided on my paper pack I dug through my stash to find coordinating card stock and a few other things that would work well. I don’t have the bundle that coordinates with this dsp but I found the stamp set from the 12 Days of Crafting advent calendar worked really well. At the time of writing this post, the 12 Days of Crafting advent calendar is still available and on sale!

The other products that I grabbed from my stash include:

• Scraps of retired ribbon and twine
• A doily
• Coordinating ephemera pieces
• Retired Boho Blue ink and Stampin’ Write Marker. I found this colour to be a close enough match to the blue in the pattern paper.

This is usually how I begin a project. I choose either a bundle or paper collection to work with and then go to my stash to find things that will coordinate with, or compliment, it. It feels good to put some of the products from my stash to use, even if it’s just scraps of ribbon, or other little things.

This album could be used for photos or for journaling.

Each page has a top pocket and a pocket on the right. One of the great things about this no sew album is that you can add as many pages as you’d like. In my Beach Boardwalk mini album I have 5 pages. In this album I have 6.

I have tags tucked into each of the top pockets. These are 4 of the 6.
