Happy Friday and retreat day! Woohoo! It’s finally here. I’ve been planning this event since before Christmas and am so excited it’s finally arrived. If you’d like to follow along, I’ll be posting to Instagram (@sherrystamps) all weekend long and will share a recap on my blog next week.
Today I have a ‘handsome’ card created by Lorna Raczynski. This was a swap I received from her back in January. I always love Lorna’s swaps – she never disappoints – they are always over the top gorgeous!
This card uses the Nailed It bundle. I love how she created a little stand up easel and the look of a peg board using pattern paper. So fun! Here are a few details, if you wanted to recreate this card:
- To create the easel she cut the card base 4-1/4″ x 11″ and used the 2-1/8″ square from the Layering Squares framelits set to cut the gap between the legs. The framelit was placed only about 1″ up and centered from side to side.
- The patterned paper measures 3-3/8″ x 3-3/8″ and the real red mat 3-1/2″ x 3-1/2″.
- The tools were cut from a combination of silver foil and real red cardstock.
Have a creative weekend!
