Do you document photos of yourself? I’m not the best at including photos of me in our albums but I have been trying to do better because I think it’s important for the kids to look back and see photos of their mom too.
I’ve started a fun project – an album of my life. I don’t have a lot of photos of me growing up but I do have a few and plan on documenting what I have. I have a bin in my closet with supplies and photos that I call ‘heritage’ – they are mostly photos of my grandparents and parents (growing up) but when I was flipping through it the other day I found this photo of me. The first thing that popped into my head was that my dress is poppy parade – and then it went to the Painted Seasons bundle because there’s a poppy parade patterned paper in that pack. So out came the retired bundle and this is what I came up with.
My inspiration was this sketch…
Shopping List
I’ve used several items that are now retired: Painted Seasons Bundle (stamp set & patterned paper); Four Seasons framelits and the large numbers framelits.
Doily and gold sequins are things that I had laying around.
