Good morning! Masculine cards are a challenge for me so I was ecstatic when I saw the
April Paper Pumpkin kit! It just screamed to me to make guy cards –
although I did also create some feminine cards which you’ll see in a
couple days:) I had so much fun creating with this kit and I still have more to share! These kits are chalk full of great things to play with.
Today’s card is one that uses the bow ties from the April kit. I added the buttons and the kraft card base. The dad stamp is also from the April kit but the Happy Birthday is from the March kit. I love mixing and matching the stamps from previous kits. I find the stamps incredibly versatile and because they tend to be based on upcoming occasions or seasons – they are a perfect addition to Project Life or traditional memory keeping layouts!
To help you prepare for upcoming masculine occasions (Father’s Day, birthdays, get well etc.) I’ve planned a masculine card class. Here are the details…
Masculine Card Stamp-a-Stack
Monday June 8th at 7pm
We will create 2 each of 3 designs for a total of 6 masculine themed cards (2 shown above).
Cost is $25 or $10 + a minimum order placed in class. Class fee includes all pre-cut supplies and envelopes to create all 6 cards. Please bring all types of adhesive, scissors and a bone folder to class.
Can’t attend? As for the class to go!
Payment and registration is due by June 2nd.
Hope to stamp with you soon! Have a creative day!
