My Dads birthday was a few days ago and this is the card that I made for him, from all of us. The dsp is from the Elegant Soiree dsp pack – I love that paper. It is great for both masculine and feminine cards. The stamp set is Wonderful Favorites. The wonderful and favorite stamps in that set are in a fabulous font – I’ve gotten lots of use out of those.
The card has two pockets in the front. I found the tutorial here on splitcoaststampers. The top pocket holds a tag that reads “A Grandfather is someone with silver in his hair and gold in his heart” – Author Unknown. The front pouch had a gift card tucked inside. Grandpa is known for his sweet tooth so whenever I ask my kids what to get for him for his birthday they always say a DQ gift card. They have now figured out that he only uses it when they come to visit – so they get to benefit from it too:)
