In todays post I’m sharing a Lovely Lavender Paper Pumpkin alternate with you – a scrapbook layout! I love to use any of our kits (Paper Pumpkin or from our Kit Collection) to scrapbook.

Let’s take a look at this months layout…
I chose two photos of my husbands grandparents and their family from the 1960s, for the layout and I think they turned out to be a perfect fit.
- the polka dot crumb cake piece is one of the card bases
- the scallop border bits were cut from one of the other patterned card bases
- all the die cut pieces except for the two smaller garden green leaves were pieces from the kit. The smaller leaves were die cut from the coordinating The Love of Spring Dies.
- I used the packaging technique on the background, stamped on it with a few different stamps, splattered with wink of stella and did a bit of ink blending around the edges.
I love how all the layers of ink on the background give it a bit of a vintage feel.
Most of the items I used are from the Paper Pumpkin kit but I did add in some black and white card stock and some ink colours. A full supply list can be found at the bottom of this post.
